ACCOUNTABILITY FOR ACTION 
Accountability and transparency are critical to the success of Generation Equality. For the initiative to achieve meaningful progress, Action Coalition Leaders, Commitment Makers and Compact Signatories must report transparently on their commitments and demonstrate that they have met their promises for women and girls.
Through a consultative process UN Women has established Accountability Frameworks for the Action Coalitions and Compact. These frameworks and processes will generate data that monitors progress on the delivery of commitments. The findings will enable global advocacy efforts and help ensure an inclusive accountability process for Generation Equality.
