UN Women Rwanda – in collaboration with the Ministry of Gender and Family Promotion – recently convened civil society, development agencies, government, media and the private sector to take stock of progress towards Generation Equality commitments. With important achievements in digital access, financial services, and political momentum – including advocating for gender perspectives to be at the core of a new digital governance framework, through the Global Digital Compact – the event was an important opportunity to share best practices where stakeholders worldwide are fulfilling their commitments.
